In 1993 he competed in the T2 (Modified Cross Country Car) category of the World Cup for Cross Country Rallies and had the amazing result of perfect five victories in five events entered. Then in the 1994 Australian Safari and the 1995 Paris-Beijing he piloted a Pajero/Montero entered in the T1 (Production Car) category to outright victory, overcoming in the process a lot of veteran drivers and T3 (Prototype) vehicles in the process. He entered the 1998 Paris -Granada - Dakar and it was in this event, 16 years after his first "Dakar" that he at last took the victorŐs laurels, thus fulfilling his greatest dream.
