Attribution of points
To be eligible to score World Rally Championship points. Manufacturers must enter two cars on each event. All 14 scores will count.
The points scoring system will be the same as in Fomula 1 with only the first six drivers finishing each scoring points.
1st=10pts; 2nd=6pts; 3rd=4pts; 4th=3pts; 5th=2pts; 6th=1pts.
Manufacturer points will be awarded similarly. Points will be allocated to the two cars entered by any registered manufacturer according to their relative position (a non-registered competitor may not detract points from a competitor registered in the Championship).

*Televised stage points = The points may be allocated, for the two championship titles, to all the manufactures entered in the championship (10, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1 points), with 3, 2 and 1 points awarded to the top three classified in this last special stage.
