Chapter 01

Bringing Back the Spirit of
PAJERO was More Than
Paying Homage
—A Step Forward

Bringing Back the Spirit of PAJERO was

When I discovered that domestic sales of the PAJERO would cease in 2019, I experienced a deep sense of loss.
The PAJERO was one of the vehicles that inspired me to pursue a career in car design.

Therefore, being given the chance to work on the design of ALL NEW PAJERO was a true joy. Our initial step was to understand what the PAJERO represented to people worldwide and why it had remained a cherished icon for so long.

Our goal was not merely a revival. We sought a design that feels distinctly new at first glance yet instantly recognizable as a PAJERO. The solution we found was a blend of two concepts: heritage and evolution.

Chapter 02

Inheriting the Philosophy,
Evolving the Design

Inheriting the Philosophy, Evolving the Design

Reusing past styling cues would only evoke nostalgia. Instead, we aimed to advance the design philosophy that has
defined generations of the PAJERO, evolving it into a form that confidently looks toward the future.

The side profile of every PAJERO features strong horizontal lines and a sense of solidity, showcasing its capability
as an all-round 4WD. ALL NEW PAJERO retains this DNA while offering a more modern interpretation, creating proportions that feel instantly contemporary yet unmistakably PAJERO.

Inside, we have preserved the spirit of the original model while pursuing the refinement, quality, and advanced technology expected of a flagship vehicle.

I am confident that ALL NEW PAJERO will appeal not only to those who have loved previous generations but also
to a new generation of customers discovering the name for the first time.

We hope you look forward to its arrival. We cannot wait for you to experience it for yourself.
